For my individual project I would like to study modern science, and research breast cancer. I want to know what scientists are trying to do to solve this medical mystery. It depends on what stage cancer you are whether or not they can save your life. I feel that with any cancer at any stage scientists and doctors should have a solution to save these lives that will be lost. Cancer is such a tragic topic to talk about or even think about, but I would like to educate my classmates and myself on this major issue. I bet some of my classmates have family members or know people that have or have had breast cancer. Personally, most of the woman in my family have had breast cancer. I have not been there to watch any of them go through it, but just to know that they have, and survived is incredibly brave. I think that the day someone comes up with the solution to any kind of cancer at any stage will be a tear jerker. I hope that I can contribute something to this later in life, and that is why I want to research it.
